I agree. It's a nice video. This was probably done with 3D Stuio Max or similar software. It's 3D modeling, animation, and rendering that's taking place.
I hope to be able to do somthing similar on some local issues before too long.

Thank you for the kind words on the Imagine KC video. You are right Matt, that it was created with 3d studio max and a handful of plugins. We've been creating animations for mixed-use, urban infill projects for 10 years and had a lot of fun creating the Imagine KC video. Our work was funded by a DOT grant. It took us about a month to create.
