Cedar Avenue Neighbors Unite to Call for Calmed Traffic

Fast-moving, dangerous traffic and lack of bicycle and pedestrian facilities have Cedar Avenue residents organizing for changes

Cedar Avenue United, a group of citizens who live along Cedar Avenue, have organized to call for improvements to address increasingly heavy and dangerous traffic, lack of safe pedestrian crossings, unsafe cycling conditions and other severe environmental concerns.  The group will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, June 3, at 6:30pm and invites interested citizens to attend.  City councilmembers and representatives from Hennepin County Public Works have been invited to the June 3 meeting to discuss questions about the future of Cedar Avenue.
